Working with the team at Barfoot & Thompson Glendene is a perfect fit for me. I’ve lived and worked all of my life in West Auckland, with the last 25 years living on the Te Atatu Peninsula. The locals recognise me as the salesperson who knows the area.

Prior experience as a design and build consultant gave me a great understanding of the building industry. This has proved to be invaluable when helping my clients through the process of checking the suitability of a property and when they take on their own development projects.

As a huge believer in community involvement, I have belonged to many clubs and organisations over the years. A volunteer for Auckland Coastguard (retired senior crew member and auxiliary rescue vessel skipper), my claim to fame includes the 2014 Rescue of the year for Auckland Coastguard. Boating, fishing and diving have always been a big part of my life – I have been a member of the Te Atatu Boating Club for over 30 years, holding several executive committee positions and have been a rescue helicopter lifeguard and surf lifesaver at the Piha Surf Club.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family. Happily married for nigh-on 50 years now, I have two adult children and four grandchildren.
