Buying or selling a property can be a very stressful undertaking, it is however my belief that with the right advice and attention to detail, this needn't be the case.
Before engaging in a transaction of such magnitude as property, it's a good idea to know who you are dealing with.
I am a local lad, my family moved to Whangamata in 1975 after holidaying here since the early sixties. My parents owned and operated the local bookshop until 1996. I went to Waihi College through the 70's (everyday by bus) and later gained a diverse background in engineering before entering into real estate after the crash in 1987. No one told me about the crash..... I was so green.
I have loved every minute of living in Whangamata, so you can be assured when it comes to local knowledge of the area, if I don't know about it or haven't heard about it, then it probably hasn' t happened.
As part of my commitment to the community I have been involved in many things over the years. To mention a few, I was the Scout leader for a few years, the 13th grade soccer coach, and also involved in the Whangamata theatre society and the local lodge.
I've also been part of the Whangamata trail bike club & am currently on the committee of the 4 x4 Club. My favourite and most rewarding pass time has been as a bass player in many local bands over the years. You've probably seen me at beach hop somewhere in the back of a band.
I have many interests, including 4x4 safaris, concerts and getting away in the camper. I have a strong appreciation of the important things in life and the guardianship of our natural coastal areas.
Because of my local knowledge, connections, and appreciation of this great area I am focused on assisting you in all facets of the real estate experience.
My aim as a Real Estate Salesperson is to guide you through the process of buying or selling your home or property and ensuring it is the exciting experience it should be.
