Prior to starting a career in Real Estate, Mike started in the automotive industry, gaining a trade certificate qualification then into his own business in the hospitality and leisure industry with associated sales and marketing, for some 25 years.

Mike's interests include 30 years of dedicated involvement with the Wainui Football Club as a player and administrator.

Mike is born and bred in Gisborne and is married with two children.
