I have been selling both Residential and lifestyle blocks in Te Kuiti since 1991. In 2016 I began selling for Harcourts in Te Kuiti.

I enjoyed listing and selling properties in Te Kuiti but since shifting to the new sub-division of Oak Ridge in Te Awamutu I decided to join the Harcourts Real Estate team here in Te Awamutu.

Over the years I have found that communication is the most important aspect of being a successful agent. It is very important to listen to the needs of both your Vendor and Purchaser, but at the same time to always be mindful that you are primarily working for your Vendor. One of my main priorities is keeping my Vendors informed on how the marketing is progressing even if there is little interest in their property.

Often Agents do not listen to what a Purchaser really wants, and to me, this is as important as feedback to my Vendors. There is nothing more rewarding than delivering what you promised and putting a deal together where both Vendor and Purchaser are happy with the outcome and excited about the future in their new home.
