I am writing to let you know about my experience of dealing with one of your salespeople, Mark Garratt, Millwater office, during the Covid-19 crisis.
I have bought and sold more than 20 properties in New Zealand and at least another 20 in the UK and USA. Mark is by far the most professional and diligent real estate salesperson I have ever dealt with. In this particular case, Mark was selling my son's home, however, as I was staying in the property, I was the one who dealt with Mark on a daily basis over the last few months.
Mark kept us informed at all times and gave reasonable notice whenever he has arranged a viewing. He also arranged open days whenever the Covid-19 crisis permitted. What sets Mark apart from other salespeople is his attention to detail. For example, he bought his own brand new kettle and toaster to place on the worktop of the second kitchen area to add some colour. He carefully placed books in the appropriate places and even vacuumed the carpet on one occasion. He carries spare masks, gloves and sanitiser for potential buyers and because of his civil engineering background is able to answer technical questions that other salespeople cannot.
During this very difficult and stressful period, Mark was a pleasure to deal with and he successfully sold the property for a fair price given the current circumstances. Mark's level of care and attention to detail deserves recognition, which is why I decided to tell you about our experience.
