Carlene du Toit started her working life as a copy-writer. She worked for top global advertising agencies such as Lindsay Smithers FCB, Young and Rubicam Hedley Byrne and Sonnenberg, Murphy Leo Burnett, scooping up some awards in the process. She ran her own advertising company, CdTCreative, for 6 years before switching to journalism in New Zealand where she wrote predominantly for business/financial magazines. A strongly felt need to be more actively involved with people and to help them achieve their personal goals prompted the switch to real estate.

A born strategist/marketer, she has the knack of discerning the profile of the tenant that a
particular property will appeal.
As a keen property investor herself, she identifies with the interests of her clients and is well placed to put them in touch with her network of property related experts. She is also actively involved in sporting, church, school, university and cultural circles – which means she has a vast pool of database at her finger tips. In addition to her own database, she also has access to other specialist databases - all potentially capable of yielding that one buyer who will willingly pay a premium for your property.
Being as fluent in Afrikaans as she is in English stands Carlene in good stead with new arrivals actively renting properties on the Shore. She also understands French, German and Dutch.
