Nigel Caigou - Ray White
Nigel started his career in civil engineering which suited his keen eye for detail. He subsequently spent most of his career in property maintenance.
But Nigel's expertise is really about working with people. This has been gained from running property maintenance businesses in Australia, NZ and the UK, under the tag line "People Taking Care of Property". Not surprisingly Nigel has been extremely successful in real estate sales over the last couple of years, achieving a 100% clearance rate. And this is what some of his clients have said:
1/5 Onepoto Rd, Hauraki
Nigel Caigou exceeded all our expectations of a real estate agent when he recently sold a home unit for us. Nigel took over part way into the sales process when the property was vacant, and we were not living in Auckland.
Nigel gave practical advice on the best way to present and market the property. Throughout, he kept us fully informed with his insights into the Auckland market and provided detailed feedback after all viewings and on all dealings with interested buyers.
Despite our absence, Nigel readily went above and beyond what was expected of an agent liaising not only with the buyer but throughout with stagers, tradesmen, building inspectors, neighbours and all other interested parties.
Nigel’s strengths are his experience and strong background in commerce and management and his ability to build trust and strong relationships with people of all ages and backgrounds. Those strengths, plus Nigel’s willingness to go out of his way to help, and his tenacity to see the process through, impressed us and delivered an excellent result.
120 Williamson Rd, Grey Lynn
We first met Nigel when looking at a house we were interested in buying and he was the agent, and it was from this interaction alone that we decided to engage him for the sale of a property some time later. Through our dealings with Nigel on both sides of a transaction, we found him consistent, professional, yet genuinely personable. Most importantly and what differentiates Nigel is that he is a true strategist who allows and dedicates the time to your property to ensure a desirable outcome.
10a Appleyard Cres, Meadowbank
I wanted to say how pleased I was with the support and efforts of Nigel and his team at Ray White. There was a clear sales strategy and advice around how to present and market the house. I was kept well informed at each step and assured we had the right plan in place. I was very pleased with the outcome and believe that any other approach would not have generated the same result in this market.
I would highly recommend Nigel and appreciate the extra efforts made to ensure this was as successful as it could be.
18a Argyle Rd, Browns Bay & 18b Argyle Rd, Browns Bay
We moved to Switzerland and were selling our two properties in Browns Bay with Nigel Caigou from RayWhite. Nigel went out of his way to keep us informed, dealt with the property manager of another firm and arranged painters to get the properties up to scratch.
He even managed to get a great rapport with the tenants, and arranged buyer visits directly with them without any big hassle.
His approach towards us and his respectful caring after the tenants was exceptional.
Despite the big time difference between Switzerland and New Zealand, he always responded instantly, even late at night and on weekends.
His dealing with potential buyers appeared to us impeccable.
He quickly gained the trust of us, advised where appropriate, and managed to close out the sale keeping all parties happy.
Once you get to know him, you’ll soon realize that Nigel never does anything by halves. He’s raced motor bikes (nationally and at an international level) and won the NZ Porsche Series championship. He still races a Porsche and instructs others in the art of motor racing.
That’s just a few of his personal accomplishments. He has also represented NZ in the National Youth Band of NZ and currently plays classical guitar.
So if you want high performance and a similar experience as Nigel’s clients ring him and ask him to sell your property.
