Ann Thomas’ Hawke’s Bay residential real estate career began in the 1990s. Over the years, she has seen this fast-paced, cyclical industry evolve through every type of market condition. Change has never fazed Ann. Instead, she has worked consistently through each shift, always focused on one outcome: achieving the best possible result for her clients.

When the Global Financial Crisis in 2008 saw many licence holders leave the industry, Ann remained. During that challenging period, she continued to work hard and support her clients through what was already a stressful time. For vendors and purchasers, this means working with an agent who brings depth of experience, resilience, and a never-give-up attitude to every transaction she manages.

A transfer to Wellington in the mid-1990s led to more than 20 years of successful real estate service for both vendors and purchasers in the capital city. That experience also provided Ann with valuable insight into how buyers from other regions think and act. As Napier continues to attract strong buyer interest from Wellington and Auckland, her extensive Wellington database offers a clear advantage for vendors looking to broaden their buyer pool.

Ann believes real estate demands an exceptional level of listening, communication, and adaptability. Over the years, she has refined her ability to relate to people from all walks of life and respond confidently in any situation. Her previous careers include teaching, managing a surgical practice, and assisting in the operation of a farm, experiences that have shaped her flexible, practical, and solutions-focused approach.

With strong negotiation skills, high energy, and a genuine commitment to her clients, Ann brings focus and determination to every sale. Her goal today remains the same as when she started: to deliver results through experience, persistence, and clear communication.
