Roy Champtaloup - Ray White

Roy Champtaloup
Roy Champtaloup is recognised as one of the most successful agents in Auckland, for good reason. In a nutshell, he is totally passionate about getting his vendors the best possible price available, whilst delivering outstanding service. Born and bred in Victoria Ave, it is unlikely there is a Remuera real estate agent who has a better, more intimate knowledge of the suburb & its properties. He attended local schools, St Kentigern & Auckland Grammar, and, after graduating from Canterbury university (B.Com), he spent the next 20 years working on many local & international icon brands in NZ’s leading advertising agencies. Since embarking on his real estate career 14 years ago, Roy has sold literally hundreds of properties, mainly in Remuera, but also including his wider specialist area of Parnell, Orakei, Meadowbank, Ellerslie, Epsom & the Bays. Roy’s background of marketing & client service, along with his love of property, affinity with people, and exceptional negotiating skills, continue to be a fantastic recipe for outstanding service & results for his clients. An active member of the eastern suburbs community, Roy is on the Orakei Basin Protection Society Committee, was a key member of the successful STEM (Stop the Eastern Motorway) organisation, and as a recognised local community influencer, has been invited onto steering committees involving urban development, by previous Auckland mayors. For the last 20 years, Roy has lived on the edge of the Orakei Basin (as did his father & grandfather) and when not selling houses, he loves to go boating on the Waitemata Harbour, ski, golf, fish, ride his motorcycle and travel. He feels very strongly about the current global, financial and geopolitical environment (don’t start him) and accordingly, has become a Red Cross Refugee Resettlement volunteer. He has placed a Ugandan & 2 Somali refugees to date. Roy has also sponsored 2 World Vision children over the last 20 years and continues to do so.
