FAILO CRICHTON Real Estate Salesperson  Samoa - Sue Douglas Property Services Ltd MREINZ Licensed Agent (REAA 2008) RAY WHITE M: +685 7600 320.   T: +685 22600  E:   Failo Crichton has that likeable, easy going type of personality that makes talking to him a breeze, it’s a valuable asset in a world where good communication is the key to success.   His laid back style doesn’t extend to his work ethic however, and he has a history of accomplishments and drive to prove it. Upon moving to New Zealand in 1991, he initially worked in a factory, which led him to the realisation that he wanted to set the bar higher. Attending Wellington Polytechnic, he attained a Diploma of Business, and set off across the ditch. Whilst in Brisbane, he commenced his Bachelor of Commerce, and worked as a professional accountant for more than 10 years. His entrepreneurial spirit began to show during this time with a number of small businesses. Notably, he also started his own construction company, which turned over more than $1m in each of the first two years of operation.   His first exposure to real estate was in 2005, when he purchased his first property, but his true interest in real estate didn’t emerge until 2010. It was triggered through his role as manager and advisor for an accounting firm specialising in building wealth through residential investment properties. “It was then I fell in love with property, I could see a better way.” Sitting his real estate license papers in Australia, he worked within the industry for a year before returning home to New Zealand, to join the flourishing team at Ray White Takanini in July 2014.   It took Failo just twelve short months to reach Premier Status, and was in fact, only a hair’s breadth away from Elite, though he says it’s not his achievements, but that of others, which really drives him. “As a team, we move towards a goal bigger than our own.” A great team player, he considers himself a “solutions guy” and prides himself on leading by example, professionalism, and integrity.  Now, starting up the Samoa Branch is his next exciting adventure.   Outside work hours, Failo prioritises his health by hitting the gym wherever possible and playing the odd bit of golf. He likes to keep focused with literature around self development.
