Gregory successfully managed one of the largest franchise networks in New Zealand, as well as subsequently owning his own franchise business for many years. He has developed a strong sales and marketing career both in New Zealand and overseas.

Gregory initially begun his working career in Primary School Teaching but due to the lure of pursuing sporting and commercial interests moved into sales working for food & beverage companies. His management background of career achievement has included working in senior roles with a number of key note companies – Fonterra, DB Breweries, Nobilo Wines and Mars.

A keen sportsman in rugby and tennis he enjoys the competitive nature of both team and individual sports and carries this over to his work environment. He enjoyed playing provincial rugby as well as playing numerous seasons in Northern Italy. He has actively continued his rugby association being extensively involved with Manukau Rovers Rugby and is a life member of the club.

Gregory is actively involved and well known with Whangamata Tennis & Squash as a player and committee member for 4 years. He is also currently President of the Whangamata Combined Sports Club and has been inducted as a member of the NZ Barbarians Rugby Club.
