A committed Taranaki realtor, family is also extremely important. Jon, Dianne’s husband, works alongside her as a buyer’s agent – effectively matching people to property. Dianne is also a keen gardener, loves to cook, and despite her busy schedule ensures her and Jon make time to spend with their four adult children and grandchildren.

Dianne largely puts her success down to being a people person. I understand it’s a people’s business, I treat my clients like friends.

Dianne was brought up on a Kaponga dairy farm, where she learnt the importance of respect. I feel my purpose in life is to help people and that’s what Real Estate is all about – helping people get from one transaction to another. I get huge satisfaction in facilitating a sale and a great pleasure in seeing people achieve their goals.

Dianne keeps a data base of clients, but now, her business comes from referrals and repeat business. Every sale is different with each client and customer processing in different ways. Some need to be led, some are just happy to go with the process. My job is to make them feel confident and make them feel like they can rely on me and trust that I can do the job.

To be a good agent you must be consistent and totally committed. It’s important for an agent to remain contactable at anytime, it has always got to be a convenient time to speak, no matter where you are or what you are doing.

Dianne said she is humbled at achieving many awards as a top performing agent. “I don’t think that I am anything great”. A former manager of Dianne’s says, she provides an excellent service to her clients, she is not happy unless her clients are happy.
