Boyd Gunn
Boyd Gunn Your local Matakana agent Boyd has built his successful local career and large database of followers through hard work, innovation and solid results time and time again. By achieving top prices month after month and by making things happen himself, for his clients and not waiting for them to happen, he has earnt the unquestionable loyalty of his many clients. Boyd saw the opportunities in Matakana and surrounding areas early on and based himself here specialising in the area over three years ago. Now, his profile is well known based mainly on his large number of sales in a short period of time. His local experience and market knowledge working the area day in and day out makes him one of the top agents you contact when you are selling lifestyle or Coastal in the area. Boyd now provides a level of skill, the experience and the style of service that discerning venders prefer to use. He believes there to be too much at stake and far too many opportunities to do better in the market making a sharp agent an absolute must .” Top performers don’t cost you money, they should make you money.” Through technology, changes in how we shop for property and through social media, the industry is changing fast and so is the way we market properties. Boyd joined forces with Wallace and Stratton because it meant his venders properties would be available instantly to buyers in the City, where about 85% of the buyers in our region come from. It makes good sense, if you want moose, go where the moose are. Yes, he lives and works here, but the buyers live in Auckland and overseas, so a city office and an international company Boyd has real estate in the blood. Four members of his family either sell real estate or own franchises. Boyd first joined the industry in 1999 based in Auckland City selling properties in Herne Bay, St Marys Bay, Freemans Bay and Ponsonby. He caused quite a splash right from the start being profiled on the cover of a National real estate magazine “Real Estate New Zealand”, Espy magazine, the Sunday Star Times and in year 2000, the New Zealand Herald. This lead to multiple TV appearances on shows such “Good Morning” and Prime TV. He also became a published Author, “Life Deals the Cards – You Play the Hand” was released through Reed publishing in 2000, a work of personal motivation overcoming adversity. Boyd worked as a Keynote speaker for Celebrity Speakers throughout Australasia on personal motivation, sales and real estate. The Real Estate Institute of New Zealand had Boyd as a Keynote speaker at its AGM’s and he also worked closely with property investment companies and developers. Now Boyd and his family live by the water near Matakana raising the children in a better environment than that offered in the central city. He brings a wide range of experience and skills not that common to our rural table and his enthusiasm for what he does is quite infectious. He also sort the kind of support and professionalism this sophisticated organisation would provide for both himself and his clients. Best local agent, best international agency, best locations all equal best prices.
