Choosing to study nursing at Auckland University saw Emma start her career at Auckland Hospital. Balancing the needs of her many patients while working within the budgetary restraints, and political climate of New Zealand’s largest GHB, Emma was quick to learn that her acquired negotiation skills were of considerable advantage.

Noting this quality from an early stage, Anne was delighted when Emma decided to form part of her award winning team. Emma’s point of difference is her compassion for the people she is working for. Anne Duncan has a wealth of local knowledge and experience having lived in the area for most of her adult life.

Girls run in the family, with Kate, Emma and Helen all attending Ferndale Kindergarten, Marist Primary then Marist College before going on to University.

Granddaughter Kayla has been joined by Darragh and Liam, sons of Helen and Owen.

Anne is passionate about Mt Albert and is committed to the community, supporting local schools, clubs and sports clubs.

After 11 years of successfully selling local real estate, and managing a Mt Albert Real Estate Franchise, Anne was ready for the challenge of opening her own office, and with husband Ross, set about establishing Anne Duncan Real Estate in August 2004. It is not surprising it would be an overnight success. In a short time the team has grown to become a dominant player in Mt Albert and surrounding suburbs.

The company has grown to include the Property Management & Rental Division, and accomodates regular in-house auctions.
