"Right from the very outset Mayson struck me as a genuine and interested individual. He impressed both my wife and me with his note taking and attention to detail. Although lifestyle properties were not in his field of expertise, which he made clear from the start, he was a quick study, and quickly understood the differences between lifestyle and residential. He proved himself to be a very honest and hard-working person who was quite prepared to go the extra mile, to the point where he would water our pots and keep and eye out for our cat making sure he had food in his feeder when we were not there over weekends when there were open homes.
Our property was not an easy sell, he had to work at it, and persisted when others would have trailed off their efforts. He worked tirelessly to get us the best offer, and never at any stage did he put us under pressure to sign an offer, preferring for us to make our own decisions. He also treated buyers with the same respect, not being pushy but at the same time being forthright making them aware of our expectations. He never at any time gave us the impression that he was not working in our best interests and maintained his position as our agent working for us and no one else under some trying circumstances. He proved his honesty and integrity time and again, and I believe Mayson's ethics are beyond reproach. Mayson shared his own personal life with us, such as his car project, his love of animals and many other things. This may seem small and off target, but to both me and my wife it was important, as this is the mark of a genuine person, a caring person, a person not afraid to become involved in others lives. I believe Mayson has a great future in whatever he does because he is not only exceptionally good at the professional side of his job, but also because he gives of himself, an exceedingly rare trait these days. He made a difficult time for us as easy as possible and understood it was not an easy thing for us to sell our property of 30 years."
