At Barfoot & Thompson Mt Roskill, it’s our vision to be the leading provider of property management in the Western/Central suburbs of Auckland.
When I stepped into the world of property management, I didn’t fully realise how much it would shape my career, my leadership style, and my passion for helping people. I didn’t arrive with all the answers – but I arrived with drive, curiosity, and a determination to figure out how to make a real impact in an industry that touches so many lives.
From day one, I threw myself into the details – learning legislation, navigating landlord and tenant relationships, and understanding what going the extra mile truly meant. I spent years on the front line solving challenges, negotiating outcomes, and making sure both owners and tenants felt heard and supported.
Those early years taught me that property management is far more than just collecting rent and scheduling inspections. It’s about trust, relationships, and creating an experience where clients feel their investments are protected and their tenants feel at home.
Today, as Head of Property Management at Barfoot & Thompson Mt Roskill, I’m privileged to lead a talented and hardworking team. My role is to make sure our team not only meets industry standards but sets the bar higher – for service, compliance, and care.
For landlords, I know the decision to hand over your property is a big one. You want someone who will treat your investment as if it were their own, handle issues before they become problems, and communicate with clarity and honesty. That’s the service we deliver every day.
At Barfoot & Thompson, we’ve built our reputation on trust, longevity, and genuine care for our clients and our people. That’s why owners stay with us for decades, and why our staff build long and fulfilling careers here.
Whether you’re looking for a property manager you can trust, or you’re seeking a team and a leader who will help you thrive in your career, I’d love to start that conversation with you. Let’s create something exceptional – together.
