Curtis’ clients appreciate his considerable and wide-ranging experience. Having come from a family involved in real estate, Curtis heard and learnt a lot about property from an early age. He has now sold real estate for many years and has been a property investor for over two decades. Holding the REA agents license Curtis is qualified not only to sell property, but also to manage and own a real estate agency.

Prior to real estate Curtis was a chartered accountant for 23 years, including 15 years owning his own accounting practice, and during that time advised a number of property investors and real estate salespeople. Curtis knows how to crunch the numbers for his clients, ensuring they have a sound understanding of this aspect of their property transaction. But property is not just about numbers – it’s more importantly about people – and Curtis operates with high personal integrity, born from caring deeply about his clients, to ensure that they get the best possible outcome.

With a long history of achieving sales milestone awards, Curtis offers expertise in the entire process of marketing a property from advising clients on presentation improvements, meeting with the photographer and writing the text through to selecting the best images for the internet and advertising launch. Throughout the sales process Curtis prioritises keeping in contact with clients and also potential buyers who he has already identified as coming to the market. Connecting and following up promptly with each and every property viewer, his diligent process has a proven record of success.

Curtis has listed and sold a vast array of property types including residential homes, rental properties, home and incomes, flats, apartments, lifestyle properties and newly subdivided land sections. He boasts experience in selling in a broad number of Auckland suburbs from Papakura in the south, to Waiheke Island in the east, and many places in between. Having lived in the Howick area for over 30 years he offers specialist expertise of this market, particularly his local suburb of Mellons Bay.

Outside of the world of real estate Curtis attends a local church with his family, and enjoys spending time with his four daughters who attend local schools and the University of Auckland. Curtis is a member of the NZ Surfing Group. ​
