Investment and land sales have become a specialty but he is ultimately driven by his clients’ expansion and requirements.
His experience spans commercial investment sales in CBD locations, client-specific acquisitions, assembling teams for development projects, larger greenfield land sales and brown field re-development.
Stephen builds successful relationships, and he is proud that most of his business is generated through referrals and return clients. He is a driven and personable agent who approaches every opportunity (big or small) with energy and enthusiasm. Strong financial analysis and negotiating skills combine with a deep understanding of vendor and purchaser motivations to close deals.
Collaborative by nature, Stephen works with the Bayleys network of colleagues to maximise opportunities for clients, and he is adept at juggling various stakeholder interests.
Stephen’s many real estate accolades include the Bayleys $300 Million Dollar Club Achievement Award, and he regularly sits in the Top 10% of Bayleys agents.
Stephen started his property career over 20 years ago buying, renovating and managing a small rental portfolio and undertaking a multi-lot subdivision in the South Island.
Before real estate, Stephen worked as a helicopter pilot in the Southern Lakes and overseas. He is a keen sportsman, having coached and represented New Zealand in snowboarding at the World Championships. Outside of work Stephen enjoys spending time with this young family, going surfing, snowboarding and, more recently, learning to wing foil.
