Patrick has considerable sales and marketing experience, including as a real estate agent in Hawkes Bay. Most recently, he was a highly successful sales consultant over consecutive years for Ford and Mazda, based in Wellington.
Patrick opens doors and closes deals
Patrick has long enjoyed the Central North Island’s outdoor attractions – skiing with his family on Mt Ruapehu in winter and fly fishing on the Tongariro at every opportunity.
In early 2019 he and his wife Diana moved to Turangi, where Patrick had the notion of retirement and leisurely catching rainbow trout. That didn’t last long!
Staying in a family’s much-loved Turangi bach, he has been studying real estate to successful gain the qualifications to be fully licensed - again. At the same time, Diana has been busy running her human resources business.
The busy couple have also designed their next home, which is in the process of being built and of course it’s not far from Patrick’s favourite fishing spots on the river.
Both have wasted no time involving themselves in the Turangi community, with Patrick a member of the Tokaanu-Turangi RSA and keen to support local causes and events.
Patrick is known for his approachability, hard work, attention to detail, commitment to clients, and first-class negotiation skills - which have been well honed over the years.
With the catchphrase ‘Patrick opens doors and closes deals,’ Wai says Century 21 Premier (Turangi) is delighted to have someone as experienced in sales as Patrick Barry onboard.
