Prior to joining Country & Co, Shay was in the agribusiness sector as a rural bank manager, and with over six years’ experience, he has developed a valuable skill set within the farming sector.

Shay is a born and bred Southlander from Eastern Southland. He grew up on his family’s 4,500SU sheep & beef unit, of which was converted to dairy in 2014/15.

The Country & Co brand was predominately focusing in the Central & Western Southland areas, but with Shays extensive network and knowledge in Eastern/Northern Southland and West Otago, he was determined and the main driving force in successfully establishing the Country & Co brand in these areas. Notable sales include a series of three farms over 1,750ha.

Shay has emerged as a high level salesperson, this is due to his ability to understand all farming types, thinking outside of the box, simple hard work, clear communication and his primary goal of always putting his clients first.
