When I started in this job, I didn’t realise that my skills as a rugby coach were the ones that would prove to be the most valuable.

I’m responsible for one of the larger portfolios in the team and have been a property manager for six years – the past four as a senior manager. For the previous 11 years, I was academy manager for the Otago Rugby Football Union, training the region’s up and coming players.

Through my sports experience and coaching background, I seem to have a knack for bringing out the best of our student tenants. Clear expectations make life easier for everyone.
