Rodney Harkness, owner and director of Epic Homes Limited is a Registered Master Builder and has been building new homes since 1996. After an early career as a Cabinet Maker Rodney formed RH Builders and then in March 2004 created Epic Homes Limited.

Epic Homes has been a consistent Master Builders Award winner since its engagement with the competition in 2009 when it won the Silver and Category award. Two Silver awards were gained in 2011 followed by Bronze, Silver, and Gold awards in 2012.

After a six-year break from entering the competition, we have proven we still have what it takes by taking out two silver awards at the Wellington Wairarapa Registered Master Builders 2018 House of the Year competition, and a Gold in the 2020 event.
