With tertiary qualifications in journalism and communications and a subsequent award-winning career spent working in print media, Kelly is well versed in communicating with a broad spectrum of people across a variety of situations. Possessing excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills, Kelly had an exceptional first year in real estate in 2013, building his business on a strong rapport with buyers and sellers and an upfront, tell-it-how-it-is style.

Kelly joined EVES after an 18-year career in journalism that included a decade as sports editor of the Bay of Plenty Times. Specializing in marketing residential property, Kelly was a finalist in EVES rookie of the year in his first year in real estate and has quickly become one of the company’s leading consultants, gaining inclusion in EVES’ high achiever's club in 2015/16. Kelly’s success is attributable to a number of factors, including forging and maintaining solid internal and external relationships, an ability to listen and understand what his clients want and working with organization and structure.

He enjoys being a key part of the team at EVES Cherrywood but is also a motivated self-starter who is time conscious and confident across a wide range of people.
