Leeann Marriott’s core values of openness and honesty, dedication and tenacity see her consistently ranked among Harcourts’ top performers. However, her reputation speaks louder than her awards and accolades: after more than 14-years with Harcourts Gold, the vast majority of her clients are repeat business and referrals.
Leeann has high expectations and standards, and brings a passion for excellence to her career. She has a vast knowledge of Christchurch’s real estate market, including legislation and regulations covering land affected by earthquakes, floods and land contamination. However, where she really excels is in making a connection with her clients and understanding their needs.
“It can be an emotional roller coaster in real estate, because people’s homes are their livelihoods as well as their family memories,” says Leeann. Throughout the ups and downs of the market – credit crunch through to earthquakes – Leeann has kept her ranking in the top 20 Harcourts Gold agents, the top 35 (out of 400) Harcourts agents in Canterbury, and often in the top 100 agents in New Zealand.
Leeann is a skilled and experienced negotiator who excels at auction, strong marketing campaigns, attention to detail and going the extra mile for her clients.
When she’s not working, Leeann’s other passion in life is her family; her commuting husband, two studying children Laura and Nicholas, Maltese Bichon Susie and cat Charlie. They enjoy traveling together to local hot spots as well as exotic overseas locations such as Japan & Europe when they have vacation time.
Truely a Cantabrian at heart, she always finds time to support local arts and philanthropic endeavors, such as chairing Rangi Ruru’s Market Day committee, for which she received this public commendation from Rangi Ruru School principal Julie Moor;
“This was a great event that raised over $33,000 for sports courts and without the work that Leeann
put into it, it simply wouldn’t have happened.”
Following the sudden loss of her brother to melanoma in 2015, Leeann has become a passoinate advocate for skin cancer education and prevention. This led to her founding an organisation called SkinCan NZ which performer a skin cancer detection day in November 2017. Since 2017, SkinCAn NZ have seen in excess of 700+ patients, throughout Christchurch, Ashburton and Wellington. During the past two summers in Christchurch there have been sunscreen dispensers providing CanTabs with access to free sunscreen in pubic areas. The success of this endeavour which is so close to her heart further demonstrates Leeann’s commitment and dedication to everything she does, in both her business and personal life.
