One of New Zealand’s most successful real estate agents, Jim has now been in the real estate business for more than 38 years.

Jim began making his mark on the real estate world in the Bay of Islands where he rapidly accrued a portfolio of major tourism related properties. He then moved back to Auckland to work with two major realty firms. His success drew the attention of John Bayley at Bayleys Real Estate. Bayleys lured him to establish a waterfront division and he was the first agent to become a waterfront specialist. Then he initiated Bayleys Waterfront magazine, bringing together an impressive array of multi-million dollar coastal, lakefront and riverside properties from Queenstown to the North Cape, Fiji and Rarotonga.

His work saw him travelling the length and breadth of New Zealand and the South Pacific almost every day to broker deals for exclusive waterfront properties, retreats, lodges, islands and resorts. Having achieved what he set out to do, Jim eventually stepped aside from this high pressure world to work mainly on Auckland’s North Shore, Matakana, Northland and Aucklands better suburbs. Still specialising in top end and mainly waterfront properties, he continues to quietly sell more top-end property than most other top agents.
