Krystal and Joe have strong ties to the local community, recently returning home to the Rangitikei to put down their roots, joining the Property Brokers team.
In 2020 they purchased a grand 1800’s villa as a renovation project, and more recently, the sentimental purchase of Armagh House. Armagh House comes with decades of family history for Krystal, whose grandparents and great-grandparents ran the Marton Children’s Home located at Armagh House. Krystal and Joe have many years of business and farming experience. Krystal started her career as an apprentice hairdresser, qualified at 18 and managed a Feilding salon for absentee owners, later purchased the business whilst starting a family, before becoming a tutor/assessor at the hairdressing college in Palmerston North. Krystal also owned and operated a childcare company expanding into OSCAR with Country Kids Rural Care Ltd while Dairy farming for 15 years in southern Manawatu. Joe's farming career ranged from farm hand up to 50:50 sharemilking over 20 years.
The return to Marton was spurred on by the desire for work/life balance. With seven children, the life part is well taken care of. Krystal and Joe enjoy being involved in their community, spending many Saturday mornings on the side-lines of rugby fields, previously a coaches, team managers and committee members for Junior rugby. Krystal was also voted on the board of trustees and elected vice-chair of a rural Manawatu school.
With a passion for renovation, restoration, and interior design, they have an eye for detail and are driven businesspeople, two traits that compliment their career in Real estate. Backed by an experienced, award-winning team, Krystal and Joe have the motivation to get you the best results in your next property sale or purchase.
