Born in North Canterbury, her career started with James Dunlop Textiles in Christchurch, quickly obtaining business experience in several service-related industries, including the finance industry.

Karen travelled extensively throughout the UK, Europe and Middle East absorbing invaluable exposure to colour, design, and architecture.

Returning home to Christchurch Karen worked for key interior design entities honing her skills, building an extensive array of connections, services, and tradespeople.

Karen’s interior design clients were the catalyst to her adding the selling of property to her skills. In sharing their fear and anxiety around selling they had triggered Karen into wanting to provide service that completely dissolved those concerns.
