Mathew Carter - Pukeko
A rural New Zealand boy at heart, Mathew made the move to the Auckland 10 years ago, buying his first residential property in Howick and has since made East Auckland home. Before expanding his investment property portfolio he employed the services of Pukeko Rental Managers. So impressed with their excellence in service, he has become passionate at sharing a better way to manage properties and has recently joined the Pukeko team.
With an engineering background, Mathew has over 16 years experience in commercial property management, leading facilities teams and development projects across a variety of industries including healthcare, retail, education and local government. He has enjoyed the challenges of working in Australia, the UK and New Zealand. In addition to his depth of skills in managing properties and facilities, he readily uses his trusted tool belt to fix small maintenance problems and has a strong values based work ethic based on trust, integrity and reliability. He is known for his catch phrase “if you say you’re going to do something, then do it!” As an added twist, Mathew was a Constable in the NZ Police for 4 years which has given him a unique skill set when relating to people from all walks of life.
Mathew is married with three young ratbags who ensure that every day life is full of surprises.
