Michael is a born and bred Cantabrian and is well connected in the Christchurch community. He has a very impressive background and brings a fantastic energy to the team.
A former professional rugby player, Michael represented New Zealand and played internationally, balancing the demands of sport with his strong academic focus. In 2016, he was admitted to the Bar as an enrolled Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court, specialising in litigation with a focus on Criminal and Employment law. While he thrived in the legal profession, Michael discovered his true passion lay in real estate, where he could connect with people face-to-face, build genuine relationships, and deliver results. This blend of discipline, negotiation skill, and empathy has helped him become one of the most trusted and sought-after real estate agents in Christchurch.
Michael also worked in banking throughout his undergraduate studies and in the later years of his rugby career also obtained a qualification in Computer Programming specialising in coding languages associated with website building.
