For Jeff Tubman, helping clients with their real estate needs is more than just a job; it’s a passion. His respect for his clients, trustworthiness and expert negotiating skills shines through in every transaction and has earned him the loyalty of a diverse roster of clients.

“My philosophy in the real estate business from sales to business ownership to auctioneering is very simple ‘keeping the client at the centre’ of everything we do,” he says.

Jeff is an integral part of Black Group Realty and is entrenched in the culture of this business, so it was a no-brainer to appoint him as their Chief Executive Officer in 2022.

“I'm thrilled to be part of the successful and expanding Black Group Realty, a company not only with strong professional and ethical principles but also deeply embedded in the communities we serve,” he says.

The highly experienced and well-respected real estate heavy hitter has the perfect skill set for overseeing the growth and success of our offices.

A proven leader and natural problem solver, Jeff is known for his skillful handling of complex negotiations.

He brings a wealth of experience as a chief auctioneer and as a fully licensed real estate agent to his role as CEO.

Jeff worked as a general manager, licensed agent, and auctioneer at Harcourts Remuera for a decade before making a move to Ray White Epsom where he took on the role of sales manager and chief auctioneer. He came to the industry through building and property development.

He is well versed in all things real estate, with expertise in real estate leadership, training, industry compliance, negotiation, and dispute resolution. He has a background in psychology, conflict resolution, and mental skill development.

For Jeff, real estate is about building relationships that outlast the fall of the hammer, and that is what draws him to Black Group Realty.

“Black Group’s commitment to supporting our agents, staff, and families, as well as clients and community and treating them with respect and empathy for the long term rather than just transactional was and is very appealing to me.”
