Georgina Munro
After an extensive career in sales, marketing and media communications, licensed real estate salesperson Georgina Munro has maintained a successful track record since 2014, selling central Auckland homes. Georgina’s early interest in property was piqued by parents who were keen residential investors and her great-grandfather - a prominent architect. She always knew that the real estate world was her calling and the successful business she now runs from her Ray White Mt Eden base integrates a whole raft of prior experiences and skills. After finishing at Dio, Georgina did a Gap year in Oxford then completed a BCom majoring in Marketing and Management at Otago University. Several years working in the FMCG industry in Australia was followed by 4 years in senior sales and brand management roles at TVNZ back in Auckland. Georgina started in real estate with an Auckland boutique firm in 2014 before moving to Ray White’s Ponsonby office. There, she hit her straps and worked her wide network of contacts, serving vendor and buyer clients in a range of property types and prices bands. Young, driven, and well-connected, Georgina’s depth of understanding of the market and how to reach out harnessing the latest technology placed her well ahead of her peers. Before long, she was head-hunted to do a 12-month stint within the online property sector. In early 2020 she recalibrated her real estate goals and returned to her first passion – selling city fringe homes - and joined Ray White in Mt Eden. ‘George’ as she is more commonly known, is a talented career woman with an enviable knack when it comes to matching people with property. Highly intuitive and media-savvy, her gift of putting together an outstanding marketing campaign for her vendors is only matched by her capacity to get a deal over the line for a record price. A passionate supporter of the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation, Georgina is a fitness fan who is always in training for the next marathon - this year it’s Queenstown.
