I come from a dairy farming background and grew up in the South Island.

I spent 5 years at Massey University and qualified as a veterinarian in November 1989 with Distinction.  I began my veterinary career at The Vet Centre in Te Awamutu soon after and met my husband while I was calving his Dad`s cow.  The rest is history!  We have 4 children and live on a lifestyle block in Pirongia village and I am now a grandmother!
