I feel fortunate to have grown up in a farming family on the outskirts of a small rural town in the Far North with Mum, Dad and my three siblings. I loved the grounding that working hard in a grass roots environment from a young age brought about. I enjoyed progression through school, finally becoming head boy in my seventh form year.

Accepting an offer to become part of the New Zealand Army as an Officer after school is an opportunity I relished and I learnt much about leadership, camaraderie and life skills. I decided to further my education and attained a Bachelor degree in sports performance from Massey University in Palmerston North.

From there I moved to Wellington over 16 years ago and pursued a career in Real Estate shortly after. I love nothing more than exceeding expectations and assisting people to successfully move on the next phase of their lives. I couldn’t think of a career I would rather be involved in. Being in a position to not only help owners with an important phase of their lives but also lead and teach fellow agents is something I do not take lightly.

Outside of Real Estate, I live with my wife Amy and two boys Kiaan and Bo. I have represented to a regional and national level in Swimming, Rugby and Triathlons. Currently I pursue Crossfit as an outlet for energy where I have competed among the best in NZ. Being a little older now, I would be the first to admit it is getting a little harder to compete with the guys 10 – 15 years my junior (especially trying to work through a long standing niggling injury). My discipline, determination, and mental fortitude needed to succeed in sport carries directly through to the real estate industry, helping me to stay very focused throughout the sale until completion and achieve the best result for clients.

The bottom line is I care.
