James Alexander was born out of the south east end of London and raised in Dulwich. He lived in London for ten years before relocating to Somerset; a sunny country environment steeped in history famous for its thatched cottages, quaint narrow lanes, cheddar cheese and rough cider. He traveled to New Zealand 25 years ago on a 3 month cycling holiday and he never went back. The culture, hospitality and freedom he discovered, blew him away.  Experiencing and witnessing the positive, Kiwi can-do attitude was an inspiration. His future was NZ! Why Whangarei? "It's a city that feels like a town, it has community with a world class environment to boot".   In his spare time, you'll often see James running the streets, surfing on one of Northland’s beautiful beaches, kayaking in a bay or up in the hills - exercising his burning passion for mountain biking. James is an experienced negotiator with over 29 years’ sales experience, 12 of which have been in real estate.
