In February 2021, Steve Roper brought the world-renowned RE/MAX brand to Hamilton, establishing RE/MAX Riverina Realty alongside co-director Jo Harris and office manager Lee Roper. The agency’s name pays homage to the iconic Riverina Hotel, a grand building once situated on the same site, famously visited by Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. Today, the office features a custom mural honouring this historic landmark—a symbol of the team’s commitment to blending global excellence with strong local roots.

A well-known Hamilton businessman, Steve is a long-time property investor, active member of the Waikato Property Investors Association, and passionate community advocate.
