"If I was a dog I'd definitely be a terrier," Tommy's sales consultant Jill Lampitt says. "I have real tenacity and never give up on my clients – buyers or vendors."

Jill and her family arrived in New Zealand from the United Kingdom in 2005. She had been an estate agent in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire for a number of years, working as the Senior Negotiator of a successful team selling homes ranging from country mansions to thatched cottages.

For her first foray into the local New Zealand work force Jill called on her considerable administration skills for a senior administrators job, before the lure of the real estate industry called her back to her "true calling"and she joined the dynamic Tommy's sales team in Paraparaumu, selling property along the beautiful Kapiti Coast.

She now finds her prior experience invaluable as it better enables her to guide overseas buyers from South Africa and the United Kingdom and other countries through the New Zealand selling and buying processes.

Aside from her tenacity, she says her listening and communication skills are the key to her selling success.

Jill loves the outdoors and country living. The family lives on a lifestyle block, and selling rural properties is her special passion although she has a proud record in all residential property sales, being Tommy's Rookie of the Year when she started with Tommy's back in 2009/10 and is proud to be the winner of the Top Agent for Tommy's Kapiti consecutively from 2009-2024.
