I had a rewarding and very successful 25 years in Sales, having started in 1991 with PepsiCo and worked with BP , Caltex, George Weston Foods Ltd, Goodman Fielder Ltd, Bluebird Foods Ltd, Harcourts and now with Barfoot & Thompson.
I come from a very small city Goa in India. My great grand parents were of Portuguese descent.
I migrated to NZ in 2002 along with my wife and 2 daughters.
I started working with Caltex, and after moving up in various roles at George Weston Foods & Goodman Fielder and having scored some good runs on the board I went on to manage the Northern Region Sales operations at Bluebird Foods Ltd.
Over the years I have learnt that Honesty, Punctuality, Passion and Hard work have helped me succeed.
I have also learnt that the more I have helped people succeed the happier I am. My mentors taught me to "Listen first and then Sell".
I was fortunate and blessed to have had the opportunity to work with some of the finest people in the industry.
My parents taught me that honesty is the No.1 virtue that would help any individual to succeed.
Everyday I wake up with one goal, " Help people succeed".
I like to understand my customers, their needs, aspirations, desires and then put together solutions/ plans, they can understand and choose from.
I will go the extra mile for my customers / clients.
Once I have been given the responsibility to market and sell a property, my goal is to make it easy for my clients. They have to just step back and watch me go through the process. My responsibility continues even after the completion of the sale and till the final settlement.
