Introducing Cheryl Whiting AREINZ
With over 30 years' experience and a track record of outstanding results, Cheryl is no stranger to the complexities of New Zealand's real estate industry. Beginning her Real Estate career at Challenge Real Estate in Remuera in 1987, she quickly developed a passion for selling property and an intense motivation to achieve the very best results for her clients. This led her to purchase the Challenge Remuera franchise in 1993, where she continued as the Owner/Director when Challenge was purchased by LJ Hooker in 1997.
Over the next few years, Cheryl worked hard to build up the business and the LJ Hooker brand in the Eastern Suburbs and gained a solid reputation as a standout performer in the industry. Her passion, dedication and professionalism saw her named number 1 salesperson in New Zealand for the Company for three consecutive years. She claimed the top position for most auctions listed and sold in New Zealand in 1993 and was a finalist for Auckland District Salesperson of the year in 1993 and 1994 and number 1 in the country for Marketing Excellence from 1990-2000.
In 2001 Cheryl sold LJ Hooker Remuera and started Premium Real Estate in Parnell. She sold the Premium franchise in 2007.
Cheryl then began her seven-year career with reputable real estate company, Barfoot & Thompson, as Manager of their Parnell branch. During this time Cheryl developed and fostered a strong, loyal and successful team and under her leadership, the branch thrived.
Cheryl lives her life to the full, loves her family & friends and whether it's work or leisure she puts 100% into all she does. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and her commitment and drive obvious to all those she deals with and who know her.
In her role at Ray White, Cheryl is excited to be in a partnership with her Granddaughter Holly selling real estate in the Eastern Suburbs of Auckland. Bringing all of her skills into play - another exciting chapter in my life
"It presents another challenge and isn't that what life's about," she says.
