Wow...what a ride this has been. Since being coerced into the industry by the love of my life (and business partner) in 1995 to come on board as his wingman, I have never looked back.

I LOVE what I do...It really is as simple as that!

An import from the Old Country in 1993 and having always wanted a job that satisfied the hunger for sales alongside a desire to really help people at a deep personal level, how lucky am I to have found this amazing career!

I grew up and spent the first 28 years of my life living in a small coastal town in the South West of Devon, working in hospitality and the family cleaning business. However, my life really changed when I met Frank, upped sticks and moved to New Zealand with him.

Initially working in recruitment and then managing a service desk in the IT industry (after being approached by a client, I thought she was mad!), the cut and thrust of sales and service became a real motivator for me...and thats when Frank decided I should become a real estate agent.

Initially selling in South Auckland, a move to work closer to where we lived in Mt Eden seemed like a sensible move, especially when it became apparent we were soon to become 3!

I have sold in Mt Eden since 1997 and worked for various companies. In 2000 we decided to take the plunge and opened up our own boutique real estate agency, brave considering we were expecting our second child. Nothing like the heat of a blow torch to get you going!

We then became 4 and settled into a rhythm of family life and business. Friday became our precious family day and we would often take the kids out of school for the day for time spent together before the madness of the weekend and open homes took over.

2008 arrived with the GFC and the onset of new legislation, and with that began a new phase of my career working for the much lauded Ian Gray of Barfoot and Thompson Mt Eden...my career took a huge leap forward and have I since become the consistently top performer in Mt Eden

Now the Elliott of team ExcellandElliott, working with Frank and our son Frankie, this real estate journey I have been so very lucky to be on continues to be one of the many pleasures of my life. All I need now is our daughter Matilda to join the team and my job will be done! :)
