Like so many of us, we have different property requirements and circumstances. For instance, first home buyers using KiwiSaver, school zoning priorities, developments and empty nesters who are downsizing. Naturally, there are many things to consider when making a list of your property desires.

I am a young professional, with a young family where school zoning is a personal priority of mine. I keep this front of mind while wanting to utilise the government’s KiwiSaver opportunity. My parents are at their next milestone. They are downsizing to less home maintenance and an easier ‘lock up and leave’ option. I like to call it the ‘all care, and no responsibility factor’.

In saying this, I want to offer you a smooth experience.

We often create a list of ‘make it or break it’ items with our property desires. Like you, I can more easily fill a comprehensive list of things I do not want, than a list of my crucial requirements.
