The challenge of the ever-changing world of real estate is what I love about the industry. From old villas to new builds, a salesperson needs to be on their toes and using their imagination to help meet their client’s needs. After completing a Bachelor of Commerce at Auckland University, I worked in the accounting and finance fields in Auckland and London. I’ve spent the last 15 years buying, renovating and selling houses in the greater Ponsonby area. Due to Ponsonby’s location to the CBD, it’s an area that is forever changing and growing but it has managed to stay true to its roots of traditional villas and bungalows. During my years developing villas in the area, I dealt with Barfoot & Thompson on many occasions. I always admired their approach and their attitude towards getting the job done, so much so, that I decided to join the team. With my background developing property in the area, I am familiar with the various processes involved in renovations or extensions. I can offer advice on Resource Consent and building consents, design options and resourcing. I’ve lived in the area since 1980 when the Gluepot and Ivan's were the cool places to hang out. Apart from a few years in London, I’ve never lived anywhere else except Ponsonby and I love it! My wife and two teenage daughters love it too.
