It is my passion for Whitford and the surrounding districts, combined with some solid experience in the real estate and advertising industries, that makes me such an effective salesperson for Barfoot & Thompson. It would be difficult to find a salesperson better qualified than me.

After previous roles as a dairy farmer and cartage contractor I came into the real estate industry in 1980, selling in Howick which I enjoyed, but a career in advertising with the New Zealand Herald beckoned. I am a past

member of the Advertising Institute of New Zealand and am an Associate Fellow of the Institute.

In 1999, after 18 years, I joined a local real estate office. Four years earlier I had moved to Whitford after living for many years in Howick. I enjoy introducing others to our wonderful area and showing them the benefits of a rural lifestyle.

In 2005 I enrolled at Massey University to study for a Business Diploma, majoring in real estate

and graduated in 2008.

In 2006 I qualified as a branch manager and was voted an associate of the Real Estate Institute in 2007. 2022 saw me elevated to a Fellow of the Institute.

After ten years with a previous agency (many of them award winning), I joined the Barfoot & Thompson Whitford

team in 2009. I have regularly achieved top salesperson status in the office .
