"Once again we would like to thank you for your assistance in selling our family home. As with most big decisions it can lead to a lot of questions within and you need time to assess the reasons for doing them and selling a house is definitely one of those. It was, from our point of view good to deal with you as there was no pressure to do anything that didn’t suit our family and requirements. With my work commitments making it hard to sort the finer details of sale we appreciated your patience it working it through.
As with most people our home was special too us and with selling it we obviously wanted to get a good return for all our hard work with the improvements made over the last few years. We definitely felt that you were working in our best interests and were very happy with the final outcome of the sale. It’s been good to get to know you as a person rather than just a salesman and hopefully we’ll catch up at some time.
From a different perspective looking at the auction process I’m not sure we would look at that option again. While it may have it’s merits, personally we are not fans of it. Emotions at times can get the better of people and while it may work in the favour of the seller I can see it hurting people at times when their hearts are set on something. We personally feel coming to an agreement (as in a agreed price) is the right way to go about things, but as mentioned that’s just a personal thing.
All the best in your transition from policeman to real estate, as I can see you’re enjoying the change, please keep in touch!
Kind regards- Karl & Michelle Duxfield"
