Award-winning auctioneer and salesperson, Harsh Karthuria enjoys an unprecedented reputation as New Zealand’s only Indian auctioneer and in Australasia the youngest – a ground-breaking status that he’s proud to have attained. This skill is vital when assisting his clients selling their homes in an auction campaign. Working in partnership with highly-respected licensee salesperson Ash Kharche at Harcourts Papatoetoe, the two conduct a successful real estate practice offering a positive and powerful real estate service to homeowners and buyers across South Auckland.

Harsh moved to New Zealand from India in 2012 and holds a Bachelor of IT Engineering and a post-graduate Diploma in IT. Harsh has a management background in the QSR industry and supply chain logistics for import/export. He moved into real estate in 2017 and joined Harcourts where his career has thrived ever since. Inspired and encouraged by mentors at the top of their game, Harsh studied to become an auctioneer in 2018 and his now placed in the top 5 auctioneers for Harcourts nationwide.

Adhering to their philosophy and motto Get the Formula Right in the Right Hands Harsh and his colleague Ash devote long hours and invest enormous passion and energy into all that they do. In the auction room where finely honed instincts and reading people is a rare talent in the art of negotiation, Harsh is exceptional. His marketing skills are borne out of a tech-savvy mindset to the benefit of clients employing him for any campaign or purchase. A good listener who understands leadership and his professional obligations, he stays calm and handles tension well – his own and other people’s.

Harsh often gives freely of his auctioneering skills for charity fundraisers and spends his spare time biking and hanging out with his biggest fan and ultimate inspiration - his wife.
