Tim loves selling. He loves dealing with people, helping people, and having fun doing so. A sales and marketing professional, Tim has a highly successful track record and more than 25 years sales and customer relationship experience.

As you know, there are a few significant milestones in a lifetime that can make one feel as though you are starting a new life – such as a new job, a new relationship, having kids, and of course buying a new home.

Tim chose a career in real estate because he wanted to use his sales and customer relationship experience and success to help people to start their ‘new life’ chapter. He is now doing something that he really enjoys and is passionate about – a role in which he can utilise his strong sales and people skills without compromising his strong values, and one that makes him feel that he can make a real difference in people’s lives.

Having lived in West Auckland for almost 30 years, Tim loves the area and really appreciates its diverse population, eclectic mix of cultures, and stunning natural assets such as the majestic rainforest of the Waitakere Ranges and rugged West Coast beaches. His unstifled enthusiasm for this area helps him to achieve premium prices for his clients’ homes, and the right home choices for his customers.

With a reputation for honesty, fairness, respect, integrity and going out of his way to help people, Tim can always be relied upon to put his clients and customers first.

He takes immense pride in being a professional salesperson – someone that people like, trust, someone who makes it easy for them to buy and sell, who they will speak highly of to others, and who they will want to do business with again in the future.

On a personal level, I am a very proud father of three beautiful daughters who cares very deeply about their future, and so I am a fervent and active advocate for sustainability, climate change action, the preservation of our unique and precious environment, and a fairer and more equitable society.

I have always got on really well with people of all ages and backgrounds, which has probably been helped by a very healthy sense of humour which I am renowned for among my family and friends. These characteristics certainly help me to deal with ‘challenging people’ in both a personal and business capacity.

My outgoing friendly and cheerful nature, sense of fun, strong personal values, varied interests and passion for various causes has brought me in to contact with a lot of people – I have a very wide sphere of friends and contacts across a broad spectrum, which certainly helps in the real estate business.

Interests

• Married for 30 years, with 3 beautiful daughters

• Anything to do with my kids’ school and university activities and hobbies

• Road cycling, our natural environment, traveling, bush walks, fishing, most sports, sub-tropical gardens, music, barbecues and reading

• Currently on the committee of Maui and Hector’s Dolphin Defenders

• Active member of Urban Tree Alliance New Zealand

• Previously a volunteer for Ark in the Park conservation project

• Served for 10 years as committee member of the Waitakere Ranges Protection Society

• Served for 4 ½ years as a board member of the Tirimoana Primary School board of trustees
