I have a vast range of experience in the rural industry with communication, integrity and relationships being my key drivers to success. This ensures I have the skillset to work with you to achieve your goals and property objectives.
With a career that spans various sectors and a strong connection to Taranaki, I made the decision in 2022 to join the McDonald Real Estate team.
Born and raised in Taranaki, I have a strong understanding of the region and its people. I was educated at Francis Douglas Memorial College before pursuing a degree in Criminology and Education at Victoria University in Wellington. This academic background paved the way for a rewarding six-year career with the Department of Corrections in Wellington.
Taranaki will always be home, and in 2015, I returned to join LIC, where I had the privilege of working closely with local farmers. This experience with LIC was both professionally and personally rewarding, providing me with an in-depth understanding of the region’s Rural community and its people. Transitioning into Rural Real Estate felt like a natural evolution, allowing me to draw on my extensive network and insights to support farmers in achieving their property goals.
I currently reside in New Plymouth with my wife and our two children and am also still actively involved in the family dairy farm in South Taranaki. My commitment to the Rural community extends beyond my professional life, as I serve as a trustee for Dairy Trust Taranaki as well as being a member of the Kaponga Lions Club.
My career has been driven by core values of communication, integrity, and fostering strong connections. These principles have been key to my success and are central to my approach in Rural Real Estate. I am committed to understanding your unique needs, providing honest and expert advice, and working diligently to help you achieve your farming goals. I look forward to catching up with you soon.
