I live in Opunake and have done most of my life. Opunake is a fabulous place to bring up a young family with great schools and virtually every sport on offer. Our swimming beach is one of the safest in Taranaki with a strong surf club. We also have Middleton Bay - the home of Opunake Boat club and boat ramp. With the beach, great cafes and schools, fishing, sports and lovely gardens and walkways - why would you want to live anywhere else?

My husband Keith (who sadly passed away in 2009) and I have four adult children, who really enjoyed growing up on the coast, Alex, Erin, Joshua and James. A keen fishing family - you can see why I have chosen to live here.
