Entered Real Estate in 2009 after a career in Engineering. Worked as a real estate salesperson for 4 years with a local agency before joining Mike Pero Real Estate in 2013.

In 2009, Brian decided he wanted a change in career and lifestyle which would be rewarding and flexible for himself and his family. Starting working life as an apprentice engineer in 1983 bought about a lot of life experiences and skills which will be installed in him to this very day. After completing his apprenticeship he travelled to UK on his OE, experiencing what it is like on the other side of the world. Travel is something Brian has had a passion for since his first overseas trip with his engineering career. After the OE it was time to settle down in Timaru, which he has said is a great family orientated city. Married with two adult daughters, Real Estate offered something that most industries don’t – flexibility, self-employed, life balance and helping families realise their property dreams. Changing career from engineering to Real Estate was a big decision but one he made with enthusiasm and genuine desire for the industry. Joining the Mike Pero Real Estate team has invigorated his passion for the industry with the highly skilled support staff and team culture within the Timaru branch, a well trusted, respected brand throughout the industry. Brian appreciates the importance of this role and is absolutely committed to meeting or exceeding your expectations. Outside of Real Estate he enjoys time with family and friends, travel, music, karate, rugby and tennis.
