During his time away he grasped an opportunity to study and after recently receiving a Bachelor of Health Science (Occupational Therapy) degree, he is one step closer to achieving an important goal of helping others. James continues to follow his passion of breeding and racing thoroughbred horses, in the pursuit of being the lucky caregiver of a future Melbourne Cup winner. However, during his time away he also acquired new hobbies focussed on maintaining his health and well-being. Combined with his own rehabilitation journey from a spinal cord injury and earning his degree, he was introduced to the needs of a wide range of disabled communities.
