Murray's family created a lily growing and breeding dynasty receiving accolades world wide, his father was a widely read author on the subject.

Murray holds a Massey University Diploma in Horticulture. Before joining real estate over 20 years ago, Murray developed his own business "Flowercorp Limited " which was recognised in 1996 as the Kapiti/Horowhenua business of the year.

Murray drove his own team of Clydesdale horses and supported A.P.&I shows around the country. His daughter Eloise has inherited a love of horses from her father.

Nowadays he's swapped the horses for an E Bike. When he gets the chance takes his campervan and E Bike to all parts of this beautiful country.
